Do you thrive on the phones and love the thrill of finding the perfect candidate for a hard-to-fill role This is a genuinely phone-first recruitment role: you'll spend most of your day in live conversations with candidates, owning the full recruitment lifecycle for blue-collar, trades, and industrial roles across the US and Australian markets — from sourcing through to placement.

This role is built for someone who is energized, not drained, by high call volume. You'll be expected to make between 20 and 40 candidate calls a day, minimum — a mix of following up with candidates who've already applied and proactively cold-calling and headhunting talent through sourcing platforms. If you're confident picking up the phone, comfortable with compliance-heavy placements, and thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment, this role gives you real ownership and a clear path to grow.

YOU'RE LIKELY A STRONG FIT IF YOU HAVE

• Comfort and confidence making 20–40+ candidate calls per day, minimum — a mix of inbound applicant follow-up and outbound cold-calling/headhunting via sourcing platforms
• 1.5–2+ years of recruitment experience within an agency environment, specializing in manufacturing, industrial, or trades & labour recruitment in the US or AUS market
• Experience recruiting blue-collar, technical trades, or operational roles
• A strong understanding of site-based compliance, licences, tickets, and WHS requirements
• Experience managing high-volume recruitment with fast turnaround placements (e.g. multiple candidates against a single job order)

STRONG SIGNALS

• Experience within labour hire or on-hire workforce models
• Knowledge of industrial awards and site requirements
• Familiarity with forklift, EWP, or other industry-specific licences

RESPONSIBILITY PILLARS

Candidate Attraction & Sourcing

You own the full recruitment lifecycle from job brief through to placement and post-placement follow-up.

• Make 20–40+ candidate calls daily, balancing follow-ups with applied candidates and outbound cold-calling/headhunting
• Proactively source candidates through job boards, LinkedIn, database searches, referrals, and networking
• Build and maintain a strong, active talent pipeline aligned to current and future client needs
• Write and post engaging job advertisements that attract high-quality candidates

Screening & Assessment

You ensure every candidate presented is genuinely qualified, compliant, and ready to work.

• Conduct detailed candidate screening interviews by phone and virtually
• Assess technical capability, cultural fit, motivation, and career alignment
• Perform reference checks and verify qualifications, licences, and compliance documentation
• Present shortlisted candidates with clear, concise candidate summaries

Client & Consultant Support

You support a seamless experience for both candidates and clients by staying close to the details.

• Partner closely with consultants and clients to understand role requirements and market conditions
• Provide market insights on salary expectations, candidate availability, and competitor activity
• Coordinate interviews, feedback, offer management, and onboarding
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date records within the CRM/ATS system
