Job Description

Position Overview

The Recruitment & Onboarding Consultant plays a key role in supporting the end-to-end recruitment and onboarding process. This position is responsible for identifying suitable candidates, facilitating screening and compliance processes, and ensuring a smooth and efficient onboarding experience for new hires.

Key Responsibilities

Recruitment Support

  • Review and shortlist applicants against role requirements and selection criteria
  • Conduct initial phone screenings to assess candidate suitability, experience, and availability
  • Coordinate candidate progression through recruitment stages

Onboarding & Compliance

  • Support candidates through onboarding requirements, including collection and upload of compliance documentation
  • Ensure all onboarding activities are completed accurately and within required timeframes
  • Provide guidance to candidates throughout the onboarding process to ensure a positive experience
  • Support candidates with troubleshooting HR system and mobile App.

Reference & Background Checks

  • Conduct reference checks via email and phone
  • Accurately document and communicate outcomes to relevant stakeholders

Candidate & Hiring Manager Support

  • Create new worker profiles for submission to hiring managers
  • Ensure all candidate information is accurate, complete, and up to date
  • Liaise with hiring managers to support hiring decisions and provide updates

Administration & General Support

  • Assist with job postings and advertisement management
  • Maintain recruitment systems and databases
  • Provide general administrative support and assist with ad hoc recruitment tasks as required
  • Conduct staff inductions via Microsoft teams

Key Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience in recruitment, HR administration, or a similar role
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and/or recruitment systems
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
