What You Will Do
- Closely coordinates with Recruitment Supervisor and Fleet Managers, as applicable, for vacancy and pooling requirements for the next three months.
- Closely follows up on communications with all seafarers on recruitment database with their latest status of availability and pursues them for joining the company.
- Promotes the company to seafarers at external venues including posting job vacancies at appropriate locations where seafarers are congregating.
- Prepares weekly report on all applications received and the status of each, and submit this to the Recruitment Supervisor.
- Updates himself on the company's vessel types, salary levels, qualification, experience, and technical competence requirements for matching of candidates.
- Develops new ideas for attracting applicants and puts these forward to the Recruitment Supervisor for approval.
- Maintains an up to date list of applicants, details and status on the network, and closely follows with them to ascertain their availability and persuade them for joining the company.
What We Are Looking For
- Preferably with a background in Crew Manning, Maritime Training Centers, or Maritime Review Centers, particularly in hospitality desk or reception roles
- Fresh grads of bachelor's degree in marketing are also welcome to apply
- Preferably young, energetic, and trainable, with good potential to grow within the role
- Proficient in Canva and active on social media, preferably with strong followers
