Job Description

Job Overview

The client is seeking a highly organized, detail oriented and candidate experience focused Recruitment Coordinator to support our growing People Team. This role plays a critical part in ensuring a seamless hiring process for the most important people at our schools, our teachers. The Recruitment Coordinator will manage interview

scheduling, candidate communications, and hiring logistics, as well as manage substitute teacher staffing and scheduling and collecting compliance paperwork.

Job Highlights

Schedule: 9am-5pm EST (ideal for this role) but can be flexible anytime 7am-6pm EST

Work Arrangement: Work from home

Contract: Independent Contractor

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and schedule interviews across multiple locations.
  • Manage candidate communications, including interview invitations, confirmations, and follow-ups.
  • Review applications and conduct initial candidate screenings.
  • Maintain accurate candidate records and workflows within the ATS.
  • Prepare and send offer letters and support pre-employment processes.
  • Coordinate substitute teacher scheduling, placement, and compliance documentation.
  • Track recruiting activity, hiring metrics, and recruitment records.
  • Support recruitment projects, process improvements, and administrative tasks to enhance hiring efficiency and candidate experience.

Qualifications

  • 1–3 years of experience in recruiting coordination, human resources, staffing, operations, or a related field.
  • Exceptional organizational and time-management skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously.
  • High level of attention to detail and follow-through.
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace and applicant tracking systems
  • (Greenhouse experience preferred)
  • Experience supporting high-volume hiring environments is preferred
