- Identify and attract top cybersecurity professionals through job boards, social media, and networking events
- Build and maintain a pipeline of candidates with expertise in areas such as penetration testing, threat intelligence, SOC operations, and cloud security.
- Partner with universities, training programs, and certification bodies (e.g., CISSP, CEH, CompTIA Security+) to source emerging talent.
Candidate Screening & Evaluation
- Conduct initial interviews to assess technical skills, certifications, and cultural fit.
- Collaborate with technical teams to design role-specific assessments (e.g., PKI)
- Verify credentials and background checks, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Work closely with hiring managers, and cybersecurity leaders to understand workforce needs.
- Translate technical requirements into clear job descriptions that attract qualified candidates.
- Provide market insights on salary benchmarks, skill availability, and competitor hiring trends.
- Liaise with external recruitment agencies.
Employer Branding & Engagement
- Promote the organization as a trusted leader in cybersecurity to attract high-caliber professionals.
- Represent the company at cybersecurity conferences, career fairs, and online communities.
- Develop recruitment campaigns highlighting the organization's mission, cutting-edge projects, and commitment to security.
Process Management & Compliance
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, ensuring efficiency and a positive candidate experience.
- Track recruitment metrics (time-to-hire, cost-per-hire, diversity ratios) and prepare regular reports for leadership.
Supporting Functions
- Stay updated on cybersecurity workforce trends, emerging skills, and evolving threats.
- Recommend improvements to recruitment strategies based on analytics and feedback.
- Assist in smooth integration of new hires by providing assistance or support in coordinating of speakers and onboarding requirements.
- Assist in coordination of engagement activities within the sphere of people and culture.
- Assist on administrative needs in the workplace such as coordination with building admin, vendors, or health and safety concerns in the office.
