About the Company

Ikigai Cases is a family-owned e-commerce business selling premium metal pill cases. The business was founded in 2021 in Washington DC by two brothers. After four years, the company has grown to selling thousands of pill cases every month and double-digit team members, including a thriving remote team.

Our mission is simple: to make exceptional pill cases and provide exceptional customer service. We uphold this commitment by managing our fulfillment operations in-house and offering white-glove service to our customers.

We are looking to hire an experienced Recruiter (previous titles may include Executive Recruiter, Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist, Senior Recruiter, Recruiting Manager) to help take our team to the next level. They will personally own all of the day-to-day search & recruiting responsibilities for our company as we continue to scale. The ideal candidate is well versed in outbound recruiting, and takes pride in their ability to close searches from start to finish without help.

About You

  • You should be self-motivated and looking to work hard - as you will be expected to work hard, contribute and execute without supervision to help the whole team.
  • You are highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities without sacrificing quality.
  • You take pride in your work and are proactive, anticipating the needs of the company and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and run the full recruiting pipeline for all open roles across the companytrack candidates, manage job posts, and maintain hiring dashboards that keep leadership aligned.
  • Proactively source and headhunt top talent via LinkedIn and job boards (PH, LATAM, US), writing compelling outreach messages and filtering for A-players who meet our bar.
  • Write and manage job descriptions, test projects, and interview workflows to ensure every search is systematized and repeatableowning speed, quality, and process integrity.
  • Communicate with candidates directly at every stageensuring timely updates, clear expectations, and a premium candidate experience.
  • Build a bench of candidates for key repeated roles, prepare and close searches in advance, and ensure we're always 12 months ahead of our hiring needs.
  • Support onboarding during the first 90 days post-hireschedule welcome calls, check progress against the onboarding plan, and ensure handoff to the relevant manager is seamless.

Required Experience & Skills Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years in talent acquisition, recruiting & headhunting roles, preferably searching for e-commerce talent.
  • Proven ability to source great candidates, evaluate them, coordinate the interview process with the client, and close searches effectively and independently.
  • Excellent English skills & an outgoing personality as you will be required to represent the brand to prospective candidates during screening interviews

Preferred Experiences

  • (preferred) E-commerce specific roles in your recruiting history
  • (preferred) Has recruited for both US and Philippines based roles

Communication & English Proficiency

  • Excellent written and verbal English skills.
  • Excellent energy & interview presence to engage candidates with the company.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with internal teams and candidates over email

Compensation Details

  • Compensation: $1,800 per month + performance-based bonuses
  • Work Hours: 50 hours per week, Monday through Friday. The hours are 8AM to 6PM EST.
  • Paid Holidays: 10 paid holidays per year
  • PTO: 1 week earned for every 6 months worked at the company
