Company Description

HB Remedial Management OPC is an experienced service provider supporting top universal banks in the Philippines with a focus on asset recovery and remedial management. The company handles consumer and corporate foreclosure processes, as well as annotation and cancellation of chattel and real estate mortgages. Services include managing real estate tax payments and assessments, consolidation and transfer of real estate property ownership, and extra-judicial settlement of estates and real properties. HB Remedial Management OPC also secures possession of bank-owned real and other properties acquired (ROPA) and oversees collections and settlement of past-due accounts for its banking partners.

Role Description

The Recovery Officer is a full-time, on-site role based in Metro Manila, responsible for managing and executing recovery and collection activities for assigned accounts. This role involves coordinating with bank partners to handle foreclosure processes, documentation for chattel and real estate mortgage annotation or cancellation, and securing possession of ROPA properties. The Recovery Officer will monitor past-due accounts, conduct follow-ups with customers, negotiate payment arrangements, and prepare case summaries and progress reports. The role also requires maintaining accurate records, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to support efficient asset recovery.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong skills in collections and settlement of past-due accounts, including negotiation, follow-up, and account monitoring.
• Candidates should possess skills related to foreclosure and remedial processes, such as handling consumer and corporate foreclosure, and managing documentation for chattel and real estate mortgages.
• Candidates should possess skills in case documentation and reporting, including preparing summaries, maintaining accurate records, and tracking recovery progress.
• Relevant qualifications include a bachelor's degree in business, real estate management, law, or a related field.
• Beneficial experience includes prior work in banking, asset recovery, collections, remedial management, or real estate administration.
• Candidates should have strong communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to work on-site and in the field, and proficiency with basic office software and digital tools.
• A working knowledge of local regulations related to foreclosure, real estate, and collections in the Philippines is an advantage.
