Job Description

Responsible for performing various Record-to-Report (RTR) activities including Intercompany transactions, Bank Reconciliations, General Accounting, Fixed Asset management, and month-end closing processes.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Reconciliations

  • Perform sub-ledger to general ledger (GL) tie-outs
  • Conduct balance sheet and commercial account reconciliations
  • Review and validate new reconciliations based on defined minimum acceptable criteria
  • Manage open item research, resolution, and cleanup
  • Perform detailed balance sheet account analysis

Intercompany

  • Raise intercompany debit and credit notes
  • Record intercompany transactions (trade and non-trade)
  • Perform intercompany reconciliations, follow-ups, dispute management, and resolution
  • Execute intercompany netting and settlements (multi-currency, multi-company, multi-ERP)
  • Manage intercompany accruals
  • Prepare intercompany month-end reporting (HFM / consolidation system)

Month-End Close & Journals

  • Prepare and post manual journal entries
  • Ensure timely completion of month-end close activities based on close calendar
  • Provide support for adjustments and required accounting entries

Fixed Assets & Lease Accounting

  • Handle asset capitalization and asset lifecycle transactions (creation, transfer, disposal)
  • Perform depreciation processes
  • Manage lease accounting activities (amendments, billings, collections, payments)

Cash Management

  • Perform cash management and cash accounting activities

Operational & Reporting Support

  • Resolve routine accounting issues using standard procedures and guidelines
  • Respond to intercompany-related queries and escalate issues beyond scope
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, contractual obligations, and accounting standards
  • Meet service delivery metrics and deadlines

Collaboration & Continuous Improvement

  • Work closely with team members, supervisors, and process leads
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives
  • Provide guidance and training to new team members
  • Support cost accounting functional responsibilities

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Standard RTR (Record-to-Report) profile
  • At least 6 months of relevant experience
  • Exposure to at least one of the following sub-processes:
  • Transaction Processing
  • Closing Cycle
  • Financial Reporting

OTHERS:

  • Shift Schedule: Night Shift
  • Rest Days: Weekends Off
  • Location: Cebu, Filinvest Cyberzone Tower 2
