Job Objective / Purpose
The Supply Chain Specialist (Procurement) is responsible for identifying, evaluating, and selecting suppliers to ensure the organization obtains high-quality goods and services at competitive prices. This role requires strategic thinking, supplier relationship management, and a focus on cost savings while maintaining compliance with company policies and industry standards.
This role will be hired under Reliance Care, Inc. (RCI) - a subsidiary of Unilab.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Handle end to end Procure to Pay(P2P) process for all assigned CATEGORIES which may include marketing materials, wellness requirements, Client Clinic Management services (O2 refill, calibration and waste management), etc
- Identify top spend of the company and implement Strategic Procurement where applicable
- Negotiate with Vendors to derive cost savings for strategic and leverage items/supplies
- Project management (e.g. bidding, negotiation and awarding)
- Develop policies to increase efficiency throughout the supply chain while ensuring quality and safety; implement subsequent changes to processes.
Background And Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business or related fields required.
- At least 3-5 years relevant work experience in Supply Management particularly in the fields of Procurement and Logistics
- Exposure in the Healthcare Industry is an advantage
- Experience in ERP Solutions (e.g. Net Suite, ARIBA, etc.) is an advantage
- Can start immediately and willing to work onsite
