Job Description

This role involves sample registration into LIMS (Laboratory Information Management System) based on clients requests,preparescustomer invoices and statements, distributeto clients accounts payable contacts.

Qualifications

  • Registerssamples onto LIMS based onclient'srequestand/or Sample Submission Form (SSF) to create work orders accurately.
  • Communicates any discrepancies or other issues relating to the SSF or other aspects of theclientsrequests to supervisor orappropriate Canadianresource for resolution
  • Applies correct QC protocols to each work order to ensure it meets QP21 guidelines andclientsrequirements. Liaises with relevant QC chemists and Canadian management when requirements are unclear.
  • Generates Acknowledgement for Work Order and distributes to clients.
  • Linksappropriateprice list and sales quotations to work orders.
  • Ensures clients test requests and invoicing instructions are followed to help improve efficiency for production.
  • Generates customer invoices and statements, and distributes to clients accounts payable contacts
  • Followsup with clientsregardingpayment.
  • Accountable foraccurateandtimelydata input.
  • Maintains and prepares reports from manual or electronic files, inventories, mailing lists and databases.
  • Follow all company health,safetyand environmental policies.
  • May be assigned and coordinate special or ad hoc projects as needed.
  • Preferred candidate with experience in SAP
  • A minimum of secondary education isrequired.
  • 3 years ofpreviousexperience in data entry related role isrequired.
  • Previousexperience with ISO/IEC 17025 requirements is preferred.
  • Previousexperience in administrative (invoicing) relatedroleis preferred.

Additional Information

  • Bachelor's degree in administration, Secretarial Studies, or similar.
  • Advanced proficiency in office tools (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Advanced proficiency in Windows-based applications.
  • Good command of the English language (B2+)
  • Prior experience is preferred:
    • Previous experience in administrative roles.
    • Salesforce experience
    • Linked In experience
    • Strong organizational, and attention-to-detail skills.
    • Ability to work effectively in a team and under pressure.
    • Proactive approach and problem-solving attitude.
    • High level of integrity and sense of responsibility.
    • Effective communication and collaboration skills in remote and multidisciplinary environments.
