Radiologic Technologist

The Medical City Clinic Southwoods is searching for a Radiologic Technologist to join the team and help lead the organization to the next level. This role administers the diagnostic imaging equipment and positions patients accurately to ensure quality diagnostic images.

This role reports directly to the Clinic Manager of TMC Clinic Southwoods.

What's The Role All About

Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Explains procedures to patients
• Ensures safety of patients during diagnostic imaging procedures
• Minimizes radiation exposure of patients by practicing protection techniques using beam restrictive devices and patient shielding
• Prepares standard equipment and facilities
• Administers all diagnostic Imaging procedures (CT-Scan, X-Ray, Mammogram, Ultrasound) to patients
• Ensures accuracy of the captured concerned area of patients
• Adheres to regulatory requirements mandated by FDA
• Documents data of patients through charting
• Monitors inventory and ensures availability of related medical supplies
• Submits census report every month

Who Are We Looking For

An effective Radiologic Technologist must possess the following skills:

• General knowledge in Radiology (CT-Scan, X-Ray, Mammography, Ultrasound)
• Customer Service Skills
• Proficient communication skills (verbal and written)

Ideally, a candidate must be at least a graduate of Bachelor of Science in Radiologic Technology, must be a Registered Radiologic Technologist (RRT), preferably with at least 3 months clinical experience or on-the-job training in performing radiologic procedures and adhering to standard imaging protocols.
