Job Description

Radiologic Technologist role based in Pasay. The Radiologic Technologist will perform diagnostic imaging procedures (such as X-rays and other radiologic exams) in accordance with physician orders and established protocols. Responsibilities include preparing and positioning patients, operating radiologic equipment, ensuring high-quality images, and maintaining accurate patient and examination records. The role involves adhering to strict radiation safety standards, infection control guidelines, and regulatory requirements while providing respectful, patient-centered care. The Radiologic Technologist will collaborate closely with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to support timely and accurate diagnosis.

Qualifications

  • Strong foundation in Radiologic Technology, including patient positioning, image acquisition, and operation of diagnostic imaging equipment.
  • Certification or eligibility for certification with a recognized professional body (e.g., American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or equivalent), and compliance with local licensing requirements.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Radiation Safety, including dose optimization, use of protective equipment, and adherence to safety protocols for patients and staff.
  • Understanding of Medicine and Radiology principles relevant to diagnostic imaging, anatomy, pathology recognition, and clinical workflows.
  • Diploma or degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • Previous clinical experience in a diagnostic imaging or hospital setting is preferred.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail, reliability in following protocols, and commitment to patient privacy and ethical standards.
  • Willingness to work in shifts, including weekends or holidays as needed, and to adapt to evolving technologies and procedures.
