GENERAL FUNCTION
Under the direct supervision of the AM – R&D, this position is responsible for conducting efficient and effective studies related to product development.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Formulates products based on agreed specifications and conducts appropriate tests to ensure that the product is safe and effective for use based on current regulations.
2. Performs product evaluations of samples placed under stability studies as well as benchmark samples.
3. Ensures proper, updated and complete reporting of data gathered during compounding, product evaluation, and laboratory batching.
4. Ensures proper, updated and complete documentation and routing of Master Formula, Product Specifications, and Mixing Forms.
5. Profiles benchmark products available in the market.
6. Conducts product presentation and testing to clients together with the Sales team.
7. Performs laboratory assistance or studies related to product development on oral care products, household products and personal care products.
8. Provides assistance in the assessment of questionnaires/feedback from Technical Community Panel.
9. Provides documentation requirements for registration and notification of Lamoiyan products with Regulatory or Certifying authorities.
10. Prepares and revises R&D – related SOPs and Work Instructions (WIs).
11. Assists in the preparation of Product Information File (PIF).
12. Conducts packaging development.
13. Provides assistance to QA section in some physical/chemical tests.
14. Conducts training on new and revised SOPs and WIs.
15. Ensures that Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) is observed in the laboratory.
16. Ensures proper waste disposal.
17. Understands and supports the achievement of the department's objectives which are aligned with the company's goals.
18. Carries out related tasks as may be assigned.
