Job Description

The Quantity Surveyor helps manage project costs to ensure developments are completed within budget. The role is responsible for cost estimates, budget monitoring, contractor billings, and cost reporting throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare project cost estimates and budgets.
  • Monitor project costs and track budget performance.
  • Review and evaluate contractor billings and variation orders.
  • Assist in bidding and contractor selection activities.
  • Prepare cost reports and project cost forecasts.
  • Support value engineering and cost-saving initiatives.
  • Coordinate with project teams, consultants, and contractors on cost-related matters.
  • Ensure proper documentation and compliance with company procedures.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • At least 2–5 years of relevant experience in quantity surveying, cost engineering, or construction cost management.
  • Experience in real estate development, commercial, residential, or mixed-use projects is an advantage.
