Job Description
- Organizes and audits requested materials in reference to the quantity estimated and rehashed quantity by QS and site team. (50M-300M Project Contracts).
- Monitors daily material requests and records approved purchase orders.
- Coordinates with QS and site team for verification of requested materials.
- Coordinates with purchasing department for verification of delivered materials.
- Observes and ensures that materials requested are in accordance with and used in accordance with standard details specifications, approved plans, and normal construction practices.
- Maintains required records of materials procured and contracts awarded to sub-contractors for control.
- Sustains list of sub-contractors awarded scope per area or location.
- Weekly updates data of sub-contractors released billings for monitoring.
- Sustains list of consolidated procured material prices for references.
- Prepares cost analysis draft report for completed projects.
- Works closely with the department head and performs other duties as required.
- Graduate of Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
- Skills in using Quickbooks and AUTOCAD is preferred. Computer literate.
- Familiarity with the construction industry and experience is preferable.
- Must be organized, detail-oriented, and professional, with integrity (honest with time & data).
- Should possess good communication, coordination, and interpersonal skills.
- Articulate, approachable, persuasive, good verbal, and non-verbal communication, listening skills, emotional intelligence and courteous.
- Must possess good safekeeping of records critical to proper documentation and ensure tasks are completed and documented.
- Ability to understand, analyze and interpret technical procedures, drawings and specifications are an advantage.
