As a Quantity Surveyor, you'll play a key role in ensuring cost transparency, commercial integrity, and accurate measurement of work during high‑intensity outage activities. Working closely with the Resident Engineer, Contract Manager, and Owner representatives, you'll provide independent verification of labour and materials—helping our clients make confident, informed decisions.

What You'll Do

  • Independently verify and measure labour inputs and re‑measurable materials during outage execution
  • Review and validate daily labour timesheets and manpower records
  • Conduct regular site spot checks to confirm
    • Manpower levels and labour classifications
    • Skill mix, productivity, and work-front deployment
  • Verify materials delivered to site and confirm actual utilisation
  • Maintain accurate daily records of man-hours and material consumption
  • Identify discrepancies, variances, and potential non-compliance
  • Prepare clear daily and weekly verification reports
  • Support the Resident Engineer and Owner's Contract Manager on commercial and contract matters

Here's what you'll need

  • Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or Construction Management
  • Proven experience on industrial, ports & maritime, LNG, oil & gas, power, or plant projects
  • Proven experience in
    • Labour hour verification in high‑manpower environments
    • Measurement and reconciliation of re‑measurable works and materials
  • Strong understanding of site execution, productivity, and contract controls
  • Willingness to work extended hours in a plant outage environment
  • Open to work on a project-basis contract employment
