Job Description

Prepare detailed cost estimates and budgets for fabrication/construction projects, including materials, labor, and time requirements.
Oversee all contract management activities, including the preparation of tender documents, contracts, and bills of quantities.
Monitors project expenditures against allocated budget during project execution.
Evaluate project plans and specifications to ensure accurate and competitive costing.
Conduct regular site visits/fabrication quality checks to assess progress and to ensure adherence to project specifications and timelines.
Regularly update the Operation Manager, Project Supervisors, Project Coordinators, Engineers and Architects to align on project budget and scope.
Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements with suppliers and subcontractors.
Monitor and report on project expenses and prepare financial reports for management.
Manage risks and perform cost control measures to prevent defects.
Resolve any contract disputes and handle claims related to project costs.
Ensure compliance with legal standards and company policies in all project dealings.
Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a similar field.
Proven experience as a Cost Estimator and Quantity Surveyor
