Quantity Surveyor - Architect

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture.
• Must be a Licensed Architect.
• 3–5 years of combined experience in construction management and pure Quantity Surveying (QS) works.
• Knowledgeable in DUPA (Detailed Unit Price Analysis) or Unit Price Analysis.
• Experience in pre-contract and post-contract works is preferred.
• Knowledgeable in contract administration and construction cost management.
• Experience in fieldwork for commercial, residential, and other complex construction projects.
• Proficient in MS Office and Quantity Surveying (QS) software.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Job Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review cost estimates, quantity take-offs, and detailed unit price analysis for construction projects.
• Conduct quantity surveying works, including preparation and evaluation of Bills of Quantities (BOQ).
• Assist in pre-contract and post-contract quantity surveying activities.
• Review construction plans, specifications, and other technical documents to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Monitor project costs, material quantities, and construction expenses.
• Assist in contract administration, including evaluation of variation orders, progress billings, and other contract-related documents.
• Conduct site inspections and fieldwork to verify project progress, quantities, and compliance with approved plans and specifications.
• Coordinate with project managers, architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders regarding cost and construction-related matters.
• Prepare reports, documentation, and other QS-related deliverables.
• Ensure that all quantity surveying and cost management activities are completed accurately and within the required timelines.
