Job Description
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture.
- Must be a Licensed Architect.
- 3–5 years of combined experience in construction management and pure Quantity Surveying (QS) works.
- Knowledgeable in DUPA (Detailed Unit Price Analysis) or Unit Price Analysis.
- Experience in pre-contract and post-contract works is preferred.
- Knowledgeable in contract administration and construction cost management.
- Experience in fieldwork for commercial, residential, and other complex construction projects.
- Proficient in MS Office and Quantity Surveying (QS) software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Job Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review cost estimates, quantity take-offs, and detailed unit price analysis for construction projects.
- Conduct quantity surveying works, including preparation and evaluation of Bills of Quantities (BOQ).
- Assist in pre-contract and post-contract quantity surveying activities.
- Review construction plans, specifications, and other technical documents to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Monitor project costs, material quantities, and construction expenses.
- Assist in contract administration, including evaluation of variation orders, progress billings, and other contract-related documents.
- Conduct site inspections and fieldwork to verify project progress, quantities, and compliance with approved plans and specifications.
- Coordinate with project managers, architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders regarding cost and construction-related matters.
- Prepare reports, documentation, and other QS-related deliverables.
- Ensure that all quantity surveying and cost management activities are completed accurately and within the required timelines.
