JOB SUMMARY

QS Bid Evaluation Supervisor is responsible for the administration of the whole bidding process, including the assessment of Change Orders, Guaranteed Material Quantity (GMQ), and other related tasks assigned. He / She will take the lead and shall work with the key members of the project team and organization to meet project requirements.

Your Role, Your Impact

  • Prepare bid documents (technical & financial)
  • Send bid invitations; secure confirmation or decline letters
  • Conduct pre-bid meetings; issue site inspection certificates; collect material submittals/approvals
  • Evaluate bids (technical & financial); review bid quantities
  • Assess unit rates; compare with standards and past contracts
  • Check compliance with specs and Terms of Reference
  • Prepare BAC reports/presentations; give recommendations; assist in final negotiations/awarding
  • Facilitate bid review/clarificatory meetings
  • Ensure stakeholder input
  • Prepare and issue bid bulletins
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices
  • Manage budget; track costs; validate estimates
  • Reconcile/clarify with contractors/suppliers
  • Perform other assigned duties

Who We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's Degree in: Civil Engineering (Civil, Structural, Architectural works), Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Sanitary Engineering
  • Advantage: Experience in Fit out, Landscape, Pool, Site Development; preferably with experience and can work with CCTV, FDAS, Telephone, CATV, Intercom Work Trade; with experience and can work with Plumbing, and Fire Pro Work Trade; Mechanical Work
  • With/without PRC license; related work experience preferred
  • At least 3 years total experience; 1 year in bid/cost evaluation (Construction)
  • Experience in bid management; strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Knowledge of Philippine Market Prices & Construction Price Index
  • Skilled in budgeting, reconciliation, negotiation, and persuasion
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Organized, hardworking, team player
