Job Summary:

The QA/QC Quality Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the quality assurance and quality control activities within a company or project, ensuring that all products, materials, and processes comply with the required quality standards. This role involves supervising the QA/QC team, conducting inspections, and ensuring that quality control procedures are adhered to. The Quality Supervisor plays a key role in identifying and addressing quality issues, ensuring that corrective actions are taken, and maintaining continuous improvements to quality systems,

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and lead the QA/QC team to ensure that all quality control processes and procedures are followed.
  • Monitor daily operations to ensure compliance with quality standards, specifications, and customer requirements.
  • Conduct regular inspections of products, materials, and processes to detect and resolve quality issues.
  • Review and approve inspection reports, test results, and other quality-related documentation.
  • Coordinate with production, engineering, and procurement teams to ensure quality standards are met throughout the manufacturing or service process.
  • Identify root causes of quality issues and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Maintain and update quality records, ensuring proper documentation and traceability of inspections and tests.
  • Provide guidance and support to the QA/QC team, ensuring they are trained on quality procedures and standards.
  • Review and enforce adherence to quality standards, specifications, and applicable industry codes (e.g., CSWIP 3.2.2 & API - 653/ 570, 510 & ASNT Level 2).
  • Prepare and present reports on quality performance, including non-conformances, corrective actions, and preventive measures.
  • Participate in internal and external audits to ensure compliance with quality management systems.
  • Continuously assess and improve quality control processes, looking for opportunities to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Liaise with customers, suppliers, and third-party auditors on quality-related issues as needed.
  • Ensure the QA/QC team is properly equipped and maintains a safe working environment.

Mandatory Requirements:

  • Bachelor&aposs degree in engineering, Quality Management, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum of 12 years of experience in quality assurance and control, with at least 09 years in a supervisory role.
  • In-depth understanding of quality management systems and industry standards (e.g., CSWIP 3.2.2 & API - 653/ 570, 510 & ASNT Level 2).
  • Proven experience in conducting inspections, audits, and managing non-conformance issues.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact with various teams and management.
  • Ability to analyze complex data, identify problems, and implement effective solutions.
  • Proficient in using quality management software and tools for documentation, tracking, and reporting.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  • Knowledge of industry regulations and safety standards.
  • Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and ensure high-quality standards are maintained.
