Quality Engineering Lead

The Quality Engineering Lead will leverage strong technical expertise and leadership skills to drive product excellence through AI-powered quality engineering and automation. This role focuses on building intelligent quality systems that enhance testing processes and enable teams to deliver high-quality software efficiently and reliably.

Roles & Responsibilities

1. Design, implement, and maintain automated test suites for web, mobile, APIs, and AI-driven systems.
2. Build and adopt AI agents and intelligent workflows for generating test cases and accelerating defect discovery.
3. Embed automated and AI-assisted quality checks into CI/CD pipelines for fast feedback.
4. Set direction for quality engineering strategy and automation architecture while actively participating in implementation.
5. Define risk-based testing strategies and continuously improve engineering practices.
6. Leverage AI-assisted analysis for defect management and root cause resolution.
7. Define and analyze quality metrics to identify risks and improvement opportunities.
8. Evaluate and optimize testing frameworks and AI-enabled quality tools.
9. Mentor engineers on modern testing practices and quality engineering best practices.
10. Champion a culture of continuous learning and AI adoption in quality processes.
11. Proactively identify and manage quality, reliability, performance, and security risks.

Required Qualifications

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
2. 5+ years of experience in software quality engineering with a focus on test automation.
3. Experience leading quality initiatives within cross-functional engineering teams.
4. Proficient in developing automated test solutions and integrating quality gates in CI/CD pipelines.
5. Experience with AI-assisted development and testing tools.

1. Familiarity with testing AI-enabled applications or machine learning systems.
2. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
3. Experience mentoring peers or junior engineers.
