Job Description
Enables full stack solutions through multi-disciplinary team planning and ecosystem integration to accelerate delivery and drive quality across the application lifecycle. Performs continuous testing for security, API, and regression suite. Creates automation strategy, automated scripts and supports data and environment configuration. Participates in code reviews, monitors, and reports defects to support continuous improvement activities for the end-to-end testing process.
Summary: As a Quality Engineer, you will engage in a variety of tasks that ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions. Your typical day will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and implement testing strategies, creating automated test scripts, and participating in code reviews. You will also monitor and report defects, contributing to continuous improvement efforts throughout the application lifecycle. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems. - Develop and execute automated test scripts to ensure software quality. - Collaborate with team members to identify and resolve defects. - Participate in code reviews to enhance code quality and testing processes. - Monitor testing progress and report on the status of defects and issues. - Engage in continuous improvement activities to refine testing methodologies. Professional & Technical Skills: - Required Skill: Expert proficiency in Katalon Studio. - Additional Good To Have Skills: Experience with Automated Testing. - Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices. - Proficiency in scripting languages to enhance automation capabilities. - Experience with API testing and security testing frameworks. - Familiarity with version control systems and continuous integration tools. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 2 years of experience in Katalon Studio. - This position is based at our Manila office. Minimum 2 year(s) of experience is required
