What You'll Do (Key Tasks):
- Architect and Innovate: Build robust test frameworks from scratch, including tool selection, tradeoff evaluation, and comprehensive rollout plans.
- Drive Delivery Pipelines: Set up CI/CD pipelines, define release quality gates, and collaborate seamlessly with manual QA teams and developers.
- Empower the Team: Mentor automation engineers by developing their architectural judgment, while establishing and enforcing coding and branching standards across multiple teams.
How We Measure Success (Key Metrics):
- Delivery Excellence: Measurable improvements in DORA metrics, specifically deployment frequency, lead time, change failure rate, and MTTR across teams.
- Strategic Impact: Successful communication of technical strategy and ROI to non-technical and executive stakeholders.
- Quality at Scale: Widespread adoption of your designed reusable components and test framework standards.
What We Are Looking For:
- Leadership Experience: 7+ years of hands-on practical test automation experience, with at least 3+ years in a Lead, Architect, or technical-ownership role.
- Technical Mastery: 5+ years using Playwright (JavaScript or TypeScript) and 8+ years of Java, JavaScript, or Python experience rooted in strong object-oriented programming principles.
- API & CI/CD Expertise: 7+ years of API testing (using Playwright API, REST Assured, Postman, etc.) and deep expertise with CI/CD tools like Harness, Jenkins, Bamboo, or Azure DevOps.
