Your Role And Responsibilities
As a Quality Engineer, you will have expertise in the planning, design, management, execution, and reporting of tests using appropriate tools and techniques, while adhering to agreed standards. This ensures that new and modified systems, along with any interfaces, perform as specified and meet business requirements. Your Primary responsibilities will include:
- Review and Analyze Requirements Document Specification and provide feedback on the requirements.
- Develop and Design detailed Test Scenario and Test Cases based on the requirements.
- Presents created test scenario and/or test cases to Stakeholders for their approval.
- Uploads requirement and test cases on test management tool - Micro Focus HP ALM
- Performs SIT/ Functional QA Testing - ETL and Database Testing.
- Performs End to End Testing to validate correct workflow as per business needs.
- Performs Regression Testing is to ensure that a change developed has not introduced new issues/impacted on the existing functionality.
- Documenting and reporting defects to the development team
- Uploads and documents test evidence.
- Participates in Daily Defect Triage to review defect raised with Development Team and Stakeholders
- Close communication and collaboration with the team members, test lead, test manager, development team and stakeholders to accommodate all clarification and concerns post, pre and during execution phase.

Required Technical And Professional Expertise
A Quality Engineer-Functional must have skills and experience with:
- QA expertise in AML (Anti-Money Laundering) within the Banking Domain
- ETL proficiency
- SQL mastery
