Position Description
- Support and assist in overseeing Incoming Quality Control (IQC) activities to ensure effective
- Assist the supervisor in driving continuous improvement projects and quality enhancement initiatives.
- Perform inspection of raw materials and components, testing, and verify inspection results for accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
- Lead investigations and documentation for all non-conforming raw materials and components identified during incoming inspection or manufacturing use.
- Conduct timely assessment and escalation of identified and reported non-conformities related to raw materials and components.
- Participate in root cause analysis and support the development of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Monitor and verify the effectiveness of implemented corrective & preventive actions related to SCAR & Non-Conforming raw material & component
- Take the lead in handling, organizing, maintaining, and ensuring completeness of all IQC documentation and records.
- Ensure adherence to internal policies, safety requirements, and applicable regulatory standards (e.g., ISO 13485:2016).
- Contribute to the development and revision of Incoming Quality Control procedures and related documents.
- Ensure proper record-keeping and monitoring of inspection tools and measuring equipment calibration.
- Perform regular reviews and updates of calibration status to maintain compliance.
- Provide quality input during cross-functional meetings and communicate quality concerns clearly and effectively.
- Support the Supervisor in analyzing quality data to identify trends and improvement opportunities
- Assist in preparation for internal and external audits and support audit responses related to IQC processes and documentation.
- Coordinate with production and warehouse teams regarding inspection-related concerns and material concerns.
Educational Background & Experience:
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Applied Sciences, or a related field
• More than 3 years of quality control inspection or any similar roles, preferably in the Manufacturing Industry
• Has experience in handling non-conforming raw material/product or other related non-conformance
• Strong Cross-Functional Skills
• Knowledge in RCA (Root Cause Analysis)
• Strong ability to interpret and apply specifications, drawings, and data
• Ability to work independently and lead investigations
