Job Description

Production and Sanitation Procedures

. Assist in collecting records and data relating to SOPs for food quality and safety to meet requirements such as SFA, AVS and ISO 22000.

-Review, investigate, resolve and identify the root cause of any problems which may be causing nonconforming products, thereby maintaining quality standards
-Assist in evaluating operating procedures and ensure systems are implemented to control overall quality of product, to meet customer's requirements
-Assist in establishing a Food Safety culture and ensure that it is communicated to the production team for compliance

Food Consistency and Quality

. Conduct inspections for incoming, in-process, and outgoing products.

. Contribute to root-cause analyses of customer complaints, providing quality assessments and proposing solutions to prevent future occurrences.

. Liaise with laboratory partners on food quality markers in all aspects, from sample preparation and submission and to mount an appropriate response based on the test results

. Conduct audits and assessments of quality for all suppliers of raw and packaging materials.

. Recommend systematic measures and initiatives to enhance product quality.

. Prepare a monthly quality report for submission to the management team, including updates on KPIs, performance, internal and external audit information and more.

Production planning and schedule

. Collaborate with various departments, customers, suppliers, and government regulatory bodies to prioritize quality within the company.
