Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Garment Technology, Textile Technology, Industrial Engineering, or
a related field.
At least five (5) years of experience in garment quality control, including at least two (2)
years in a supervisory or managerial role.
Strong knowledge of garment construction, measurements, workmanship standards,
fabrics, and common garment defects.
Experienced in start-up, first-bundle, inline, and final garment inspections.
Knowledgeable in root-cause analysis and corrective and preventive actions.
Strong leadership, analytical, problem-solving, communication, and decision-making skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and preparation of quality reports.
Key Responsibilities
Leads and manages the QC team and assigns inspectors based on production requirements.
Ensures proper inspection of garments from start-up and inline production through final
inspection.
Monitors garment construction, measurements, workmanship, appearance, and packaging.
Identifies recurring defects, conducts root-cause analysis, and recommends corrective and
preventive actions.
Coordinates with Production, Quality Assurance, Merchandising, MPCD, and other
concerned departments to resolve quality issues.
Approves, holds, or rejects finished goods based on established quality standards.
Monitors the implementation of corrective actions and quality improvement measures.
Prepares and submits quality reports and updates to Management.
Ensures that production and shipment priorities are completed without compromising
product quality.
