Specific Duties And Responsibilities
- Conduct inspection of delivery trucks to ensure compliance with quality and sanitation
requirements.
- Perform sampling and inspection of incoming packaging materials based on established
quality procedures.
- Conduct routine calibration and verification of weighing scales and other assigned
measuring equipment.
- Monitor production operations and conduct in-process quality inspections to ensure
compliance with product specifications.
- Verify product weight, packaging quality, and finished product appearance during
production.
- Perform Vitamin A fortification activities in accordance with established procedures.
- Inspect finished products prior to packing to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Identify, segregate, and report non-conforming materials and finished products.
- Prepare and maintain accurate inspection records, quality reports, and documentation.
- Assist in the evaluation and disposition of incoming packaging materials, including
evaluation samples and rejected materials.
- Maintain proper housekeeping and cleanliness of the assigned work area.
- Monitor and maintain traceability records of received materials and inspected products.
- Coordinate with Production, Warehouse, and other departments regarding quality-
related concerns.
- Perform Halal-critical activities, including Vitamin A fortification and other designated
production processes, in accordance with the Company's Halal Assurance System
(HAS).
- Ensure the integrity of Halal materials through proper handling, segregation, monitoring,
and documentation.
- Report any actual or potential non-conformities that may affect the Halal status of
products.
- Comply with all Halal, HACCP, GMP, Food Safety, and Safety, Health & Environment
(SHE) requirements
- Perform other duties that may be assigned by the Quality Control Manager.
Job Qualifications
- College level or graduate of BS Food Technology, BS Chemistry, BS Chemical
Engineering, BS Biology, BS Microbiology, BS Nutrition and Dietetics, or any related
science course.
- Fresh graduates and college-level applicants with relevant manufacturing or quality
control experience are encouraged to apply.
- Knowledge of GMP, HACCP, Food Safety, and Halal Assurance System is an
advantage.
- Willing to undergo Halal awareness and competency training.
- Applicants assigned to Halal-critical functions must be able to satisfy the qualification
requirements prescribed by the Company's recognized Halal Certifying Body. Where
certification requirements specifically require a Muslim personnel for designated Halal-
critical activities, only qualified applicants who meet such certification requirements
may be assigned to those functions.
- Willing to work in a manufacturing environment and on shifting schedules.
