DMPI markets over 100 processed food and beverage variants, including pineapple solids (sliced, tidbits, chunks), tropical mixes, pineapple juice and mixed drinks, tomato-based products (tomato sauce, catsup, spaghetti sauce), condiments, and pasta (spaghetti , macaroni).

DEL MONTE PHILIPPINES, INC. is in need of:

MATERIALS QA SUPERVISOR (Raw and Packaging Material)

Job Purpose: The Materials QA Supervisor ensures that all raw and packaging materials meet specified quality and safety standards before production preventing non-conforming materials from entering the manufacturing process.

Directly supports the organization's mission to produce safe, effective, and compliant products by safeguarding supply chain integrity, reducing production disruptions, and upholding regulatory and customer quality expectations.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee acceptance of all Raw Material (pineapple, papaya, nata de coco,) and Ingredients.
  • Oversee acceptance of Packaging Materials (primary, secondary, and tertiary).
  • Ensure compliance with HACCP, ISO 9001:2000, and ISO 22000 certifications.
  • Training and competency of QA Analsyt/Inspectors for Raw and Packaging Material Acceptance.
  • Participate in R&D initiated trial, validation and commercial runs for finished products (can and other packaging materials).
  • Participate in 5S/TPM initiatives and activities of Cannery Operations Management and maintain effective employee relations to strengthen employee morale and increase productivity.

Qualifications:

  1. Engineering or Sciences graduate (Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Food Technology, Biology, Microbiology, and other related courses).

Relevant Experience:

  1. Working experience in Quality Assurance in the areas of: Laboratory, raw & packaging material and acceptance, auditing, GMP, and Sanitation.
  2. Experience in ensuring adherence to food safety standards (HACCP, GMP) and regulatory requirements.

Interested candidates must be willing to work onsite at Cagayan de Oro, Misamis Oriental on a 6-day workweek schedule.
