Quality Assurance Specialist (QMS)

About the Role:

Location: Ermita, Manila

Role Type: Full-time Onsite

Department: Corporate Planning, Assurance and Governance (CPAG)

Reporting to: CPAG Director

Work Schedule: 5-day work week

The QMS Specialist supports the effective implementation and maintenance of the Quality Management System by conducting audits, managing document control activities, coordinating corrective actions, supporting external audits, and ensuring compliance with ISO 9001:2015 and related standards.

ISO 9001:2015 Management

• Conduct Internal Quality Audits (IQAs) as Lead Auditor, including audit preparation, fieldwork related to audit, reporting, and closure
• Participate in auditor training and calibration activities
• Validate and coordinate corrective actions to ensure effective closure
• Prepare inputs and documentation for Management Review Meetings (MRM)

Business Continuity Planning (BCP)

• Maintain, update, and control BCP documentation
• Support BCP testing activities and documentation requirements

DTI-BPS (PNS ISO/IEC 17025) Support

• Lead external audit support activities
• Serve as Lead Auditor during pre-audit assessments

Document Control & Compliance (DCC)

• Serve as the Main DCC person-in-charge
• Maintain, update and control the corporate-wide policy/document portal
• Manage document revisions, change control, and version management
• Ensure proper archiving and disposal of obsolete or superseded documents

Risk Management

• Validate ISO-related risk criteria and controls reflected in the Risk Register
• Coordinate with process owners to ensure risks are properly documented and updated

Policy Awareness

• Execute policy cascades and awareness activities
• Manage policy registration, tracking, and documentation

Job requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Quality Management, Business Administration, Internal Audit or a related field
• Minimum of 2–4 years of experience in Quality Management, Compliance, or Document Control
• Experience in conducting Internal Quality Audits (IQAs) or supporting audit activities
• Hands-on experience in document control, change management, and records management
• Exposure to Management Review preparation, corrective action tracking, and audit coordination
