Position
Quality Assurance Officer
Responsibilities
- Inspects and evaluates raw materials, packaging, and finished goods against approved company standards.
- Prepares reagents and test solutions, and performs sampling, testing, and analyses in accordance with company Quality Assurance SOPs.
- Performs quality monitoring, inspection, and verification of the production line and records for compliance as per set Quality Assurance SOPs.
- Properly operates and maintains laboratory equipment.
- Maintains workplace in a safe and orderly condition.
- Prepares Purchase Requests for laboratory supplies.
- Participates in plant audits.
- Helps formulate, establish, and improve the company's documents and manuals for Quality Assurance to ensure efficiency, food safety, and compliance to regulatory and internationally established standards.
- Coordinates receiving and releasing of raw materials, packaging, and finished goods with other departments as per company procedure.
- Assists and collaborates with other departments in investigating and correcting quality related issues.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Food Technology, Microbiology, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or other related sciences.
- PRC License will be an advantage.
- Experience in the following will be an advantage: QA/QC officer in food manufacturing; Exposure in laboratory testing and line monitoring; Knowledgeable in Quality Management Systems – GMP, HACCP.
- Has strong analytical skills, attention to detail, good task management, good communication and interpersonal skills, open to learning.
- Can work with minimal supervision and is a team player.
- Willing to work in Bagumbayan (Bicutan) – Taguig City
