Job Summary
The primary purpose of this position is to ensure that the company is operating based on BSP Rules and Regulation and the CVM appraisal standards on jewelry, gadgets, forex and other services are being implemented in all branches and that all assessments are documented and reported accordingly. He/She is also tasked to assess and recommend improvements related to total branch operations.
Specific Duties And Responsibilities
- Conducts physical and digital Branch Compliance Audit to ensure that all branches are complied with BSP and other government requirements.
- Conducts physical and digital counting and appraisal of all jewelry, gadgets, and forex to ascertain its accuracy and completeness in accordance with companys prescribed policies and guidelines.
- Conducts regular branch operations assessment in accordance with established branch standard operating procedures and policies covering but not limited to the following :
Cash on hand (COH) to ensure the complete and accurate accounting of all cash assets of the branch.
Furniture, Fixtures and Equipment (FFE) to ensure completeness, proper maintenance, and proper usage of FFE.
All branch operations related SOPs.
- Ensures that prescribed policies and security standards are interpreted and carried out properly in branches.
- Documents findings and submits reports gathered and discusses the same with the Audit Supervisor together with the corresponding recommendations, when necessary.
- Handles special assignments as instructed by the immediate superior including turnover of vault stocks and accountabilities, change of vault door combination when needed.
- Ensures that all books and records of the branches are updated, complete and issuance of official receipts is consistently done.
- Ensures integrity and honesty in all transactions. Sees to it that all transactions are supported with the correct, complete, and honest files of records required.
- Ensures that he/she is properly educated and has initiatives to undergo training in all technical skills in jewelry, gadgets, and forex appraisal, SOPs, POS and other related computer software provided by the company.
- Ensures that all appraisal tools and other equipment provided by the company are in good condition and properly working.
- Performs other duties and responsibilities that may be assigned from time to time by the immediate superior.
- Prepare weekly workplan on area branches assigned based on audit objectives .
JOB SPECIFICATION
At least college level of any related course
Minimum three years of experience performing the duties equivalent to a branch operations specialist
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
Proficiency in jewelry, gadgets, and forex appraisal
Analytical and detail-oriented
