Quality Assurance Manager

The Quality Assurance Manager is responsible for leading, directing, and managing the Quality Assurance operations to support the company's objectives of providing products that consistently meet standards and specifications for quality and safety. The position is also responsible for overseeing compliance and integrating benchmarked quality standards, systems, processes, and practices across the supply chain in alignment with business directions.

• Establishes and implements quality management and quality assurance programs, objectives, and performance standards.
• Leads and manages quality assurance operations to ensure compliance with standards and client requirements.
• Initiates, participates in, and supports continual improvement initiatives.
• Develops and manages department budgets and resources.
• Develops and continuously reviews departmental organization and personnel, as well as managing team performance.

Job Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Biology, Chemical Engineering, Food Technology, or any related courses.
• Preferably, a licensed Chemist or Chemical Engineer.
• With at least five (5) years of experience in Food Quality Assurance and/or Manufacturing, or related fields.
• Holding at least three (3) years of managerial role experience.
• Must be knowledgeable in food science and technology, including food engineering, chemistry, microbiology, and other relevant analytical techniques.
• Must have experience in implementing Quality Management Systems (QMS) such as HACCP, ISO systems, and SPC (Statistical Process Control) program in a food plant environment.
• Preferably with experience in bakery and meat processing operations.
• Willing to work on a shifting schedule in Sucat, Muntinlupa.
