Quality Manager

About the Role:
We are looking for a Quality Manager to drive quality excellence across manufacturing operations and ensure the delivery of zero-defect products to our customers. This role will be responsible for embedding quality at the production line, strengthening process controls, leading quality improvement initiatives, and ensuring compliance with customer, regulatory, and industry requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead all Line Quality activities across production, ensuring adherence to established quality standards and control plans.
- Drive a zero-defect culture through defect prevention, process discipline, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Develop and monitor key manufacturing quality metrics, including FPY, PPM, DPMO, Scrap, Rework, Cp, and Cpk.
- Ensure effective implementation of PFMEA, Control Plans, SPC, Poka-Yoke, and Layered Process Audits (LPA).
- Partner with Production, Engineering, Process, and Maintenance teams to identify, contain, and eliminate quality issues.
- Lead root cause analysis using 8D, 5 Why, Fishbone, and CAPA methodologies to prevent recurrence of defects.
- Drive real-time monitoring of quality performance and implement corrective actions to improve process capability and yield.
- Support new product introduction (NPI), process changes, and customer requirements through quality validation and risk assessment.
- Ensure product traceability, non-conformance management, and compliance with QMS requirements.
- Develop and coach Line Quality Engineers, Inspectors, and Quality Technicians to strengthen quality ownership on the shop floor.
- Conduct regular Gemba walks and quality reviews to ensure compliance with standard work and operational discipline.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related field.
- At least 5–8 years of experience in Line Quality, Manufacturing Quality, or Production Quality within the electronics, automotive, industrial, or EMS industry.
- Strong knowledge of IATF 16949, ISO 9001, SPC, PFMEA, Control Plans, 8D, CAPA, and Lean Manufacturing principles.
- Experience in high-volume manufacturing environments with a focus on yield improvement and defect reduction.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive continuous improvement projects.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
