What you'll be doing
- Develop, implement and maintain quality management systems and processes to monitor and improve product quality
- Conduct quality audits, analyse data and identify areas for improvement
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions
- Train and mentor team members on quality control best practices
- Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, regulations and internal policies
- Report on quality metrics and KPIs to management
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality and productivity
What we're looking for
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a quality management role, preferably in the manufacturing, transport or logistics industries
- Proven track record of implementing effective quality control systems and processes
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve quality issues
- Experience with quality auditing, data analysis and reporting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Knowledge of relevant industry standards, regulations and quality management principles
- Certifications such as ISO, Six Sigma or LEAN preferred
