Role- QA Lead- Banking – Cards
Job Location- Makati – Philippines
Work Mode: Working from office
Key Responsibilities –
- Design and execute functional and integration test cases for card transaction processing systems using Ascend / Sema Card platforms
- Develop detailed test scenarios covering card lifecycle processes and transaction flows
- Execute SIT and integration test cycles ensuring coverage of business requirements and transaction scenarios
- Maintain traceability between requirements, test cases, and execution results
- Validate end-to-end card transaction flows across POS, ATM, and E-commerce channels
- Validate transaction lifecycle including authorization, reversals, cancellations, clearing, and settlement
- Validate scenarios such as refunds, chargebacks, and merchant settlement
- Perform testing on FIS Cortex modules and associated integration points
- Validate integrations with payment switches, core banking systems, fraud detection systems, and settlement/reporting platforms
- Verify transaction message integrity and data consistency across systems
- Experience in software testing within banking or payments domain
- Hands-on experience testing card processing systems using FIS Cortex
- Strong experience in functional and integration testing for card transaction systems
- Exposure to SIT and UAT cycles in banking or payment platform implementations
- Experience using test management and defect tracking tools such as Jira or ALM
- Knowledge of card issuing and acquiring processes
- Understanding of card transaction lifecycle (Authorization → Clearing → Settlement)
- Experience in POS / ATM / E-commerce transaction processing
- Knowledge of chargeback and dispute handling processes
- Understanding of payment switching and transaction routing
- Exposure to ISO 8583 transaction messaging
- Experience working with payment switches or network integrations
