As a QA Engineer, you will:
- Work as the test automation specialist on a cross-functional team, working with Software Engineers, Business Analysts, UX, and Design to deliver high-quality software.
- Create test plans for complex systems.
- Design and implement Test Automation for Web/iOS/Android applications and APIs (REST / SOAP / GraphQL). Champion quality practices within your team and look for ways to continually improve our practices, process, and products. Be a strong advocate for the customer, and help drive and shape solutions that delight our customers.
About You ...
- You have previous experience as a QA Engineer on a cross-functional team in an agile environment.
- You have built Test Automation frameworks using open-source tooling (at the moment we use Cypress, WebdriverIO, and Capybara for functional test automation and JMeter for performance testing).
- You have experience in at least one programming language (we use JavaScript, Java, ColdFusion, and Ruby).
- You have a technical background and are comfortable with development tools like git, Docker, querying databases using SQL, and have a working knowledge of AWS.
- You have experience with practices like CI/CD, Exploratory Testing etc.
- You are passionate about Quality and Test Automation and keep yourself up-to-date on the latest developments in this space.
- You have good communication skills, working collaboratively with your team and helping introduce and explain new tools and techniques.
