Job Description
The QAE Head is a leadership role responsible for defining and driving the quality strategy across telco platforms and digital products. This role ensures quality is embedded end-to-end — from requirements to production while leading QA teams, setting standards, and partnering with engineering, product and operations teams.
Quality Strategy & Governance
- Define and own the overall QA and test strategy for Digital Channels
- Establish quality standards, metrics, and KPIs
- Ensure quality gates
- Drive shift-left and shift-right testing practices
Leadership & People Management
- Lead, mentor, and develop QA engineers and QA managers
- Build high-performing QA teams aligned to product domains
- Set performance goals and career development paths
- Manage resource planning and capacity across programs
Delivery & Risk Management
- Ensure end-to-end test coverage across complex integrations
- Identify quality risks early and drive mitigation plans
- Make release readiness and go/no-go recommendations
Automation & Engineering Excellence
- Drive test automation strategy and adoption
- Balance manual, automated, and exploratory testing
- Promote testability, observability, and reliability engineering
- Ensure automation is scalable, maintainable, and business-aligned
Hiring Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering or related field
- 10+ years of QA experience, ideally in telecommunications, software development, or network services.
- 5+ years in a senior/leadership role, such as QA Manager, QA Lead, Head of QA, or Director of Quality.
- Experience with enterprise-level QA functions — scaling processes, cross-functional alignment and performance measurement.

- Software quality tools (e.g., Selenium, JIRA, TestRail)
- Automation architecture & test frameworks
- Performance, regression, integration & security testing
- Telecommunication specific testing frameworks
Methodologies
- Agile / Scrum / DevOps
- ITIL / Six Sigma / CMMI practices
