Quality Assurance Engineer (C#, Automation Testing)

The QA Engineer role at serves as an integral member of a global Agile Product Development team to design, build, test and deliver technology products to our external or internal clients. This role works with proprietary and/or industry-leading systems and applications and ensures that these are designed and built according to agreed-upon technical specifications and quality standards.

Role:

• Creates high quality acceptance tests from acceptance criteria and quality standards that help the scrum team understand the value of the user story from the user's perspective.

• Helps support and maintain the goal of continuous and daily UI automated test execution and review failed tests.

• Works with the scrum team in identifying appropriate tests to execute and automate, that will get the team closer to the goal of delivering working software to production at the conclusion of every sprint.

• Advocates improving quality during all stages of software development.

• Serves as a champion of quality for your scrum team and help support the QA Community of Practice, knowledge sharing sessions, lunch & learn, brown bag sessions, and other learning sessions.

• Contribute to testing strategy for product that lead to high quality releases

Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree in a technology related discipline.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Manages time effectively by placing the right focus on value adding operations

• Demonstrate a strong understanding of SDLC process. Experience in Agile/Scrum framework is a plus

• Experience in Automation Testing is required.

• Intermediate knowledge of tools and techniques used in manual testing

• Intermediate experience in testing web applications

• Working knowledge on how a web application works

• Creates test scenarios from functional requirements and/or User Stories; using the Gherkin format is a plus.

• Intermediate skills in writing T-SQL

• Knowledge of using SQL Management Studio is a plus

• Good technical foundation, knowledge of programming language C# or a similar development tool is a plus

• Working knowledge of the following technologies and how it impacts testing: JavaScript, Ajax, Jquery, CSS, XML, Angular, load balancing, single/multi tenancy, and rational database design concepts, is a plus

• Good understanding of agile software development practices and principles

• Artificial Intelligence (AI) knowledge is preferred but not required.

• Experience testing AI features or functionalities is a PLUS.

• Hands-on experience testing AI chatbot solutions (e.g., Azure or similar technologies) is a strong advantage.
