Quality Assurance Automation Engineer

QA Automation Tester (Playwright) | Project-Based | Alabang (Onsite → Hybrid)

About the role

We are partnering with a Shared Services organisation in the real estate industry to find a QA Automation Tester for a project assignment. You'll help keep releases high quality by building and running automated tests with Playwright, following the project's test plan and test strategy.

Work arrangement

• Project-based assignment
• First 2 months: fully onsite in Alabang, Muntinlupa
• After that: hybrid, 2–3 days a week onsite
• Immediate start. Candidates who can join ASAP are preferred

What you'll do

• Design, build and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright
• Carry out testing in line with the agreed test plan and automation test strategy
• Run automated regression, functional and end-to-end tests
• Find, document and track defects, and work with developers to resolve them
• Report on test coverage, results and quality risks to the project team
• Help improve automation frameworks and QA processes over time

What we're looking for

• 4+ years of experience in QA / test automation
• Hands-on experience with Playwright (JavaScript/TypeScript or Python)
• Solid grasp of test plans, test strategy and the software testing lifecycle
• Experience with defect tracking and test management tools (e.g., Jira, Xray, TestRail)
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control (e.g., Git)
• Strong attention to detail and clear communication

Nice to have

• Experience in the real estate industry
• Background in a shared services or enterprise environment
• Exposure to API testing (e.g., Postman, Playwright API testing)
