Quality Assurance Automation Engineer

Job Description Summary

Design & execute functional/API tests; contribute to automation (Testim/Selenium/Postman/JMeter); integrate with CI; own a small automation backlog to raise coverage and stability; follow QA COE standards.

Execute functional/API tests under mentorship; automate targeted scenarios; log clear repro steps; adhere to QA COE process and reporting.

The QA Automation Engineer is responsible for writing code to automatically test various areas of Axos core functionality, including Web UI, SQL databases, REST APIs, and Mobile devices.

Responsibilities

• Develops and implements automated tests within our current framework and infrastructure.
• Reviews new and existing user stories to ensure good understanding of Axos bank core functionality.
• Writes new and updates existing test cases as needed.
• Responsible for reviewing, interpreting, and applying business rules and logic to ensure a high level of software quality, consistency, and repeatability
• Works closely with Project, Product, Development, and Production Support teams to meet agreed-upon deliverables

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree
• At least 2 years of experience in QA engineering
• Experience designing and executing automated tests
