Quality Assurance Automation Engineer

Required Skills & Qualifications

Technical Skills

3+years of experience in Software Testing 

Hands-on experience with:

Selenium WebDriver

Playwright or Cypress

TestNG / JUnit / Cucumber (BDD)

Java, C#, JavaScript/TypeScript, or Python

Strong API testing experience using Postman, Rest Assured, SoapUI, or Karate.

Experience with SQL and database validation.

Knowledge of Git, Maven, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or similar CI/CD tools.

Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Experience with test management tools such as Jira, Zephyr, TestRail, or ALM.

Domain Skills

Minimum 2–3 years of experience in the Insurance domain.

Strong understanding of:

Policy Lifecycle

Claims Processing

Underwriting

Billing Systems

Insurance Compliance and Regulatory Requirements

Experience with insurance platforms such as Guidewire, Duck Creek, Majesco, or similar solutions is an advantage.

Preferred Qualifications

ISTQB Certification or equivalent QA certification.

Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter.

Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).

Experience leading automation initiatives or mentoring QA team members.

Knowledge of DevOps and Continuous Testing practices.
