Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced QA Automation Engineer to lead the design, implementation, and continuous execution of our automated and manual testing frameworks across Solviva's entire application ecosystem. This role serves as the ultimate gatekeeper of software quality, ensuring that our customer-facing web apps, cross-platform mobile environments, and automated backend data pipelines perform flawlessly. The ideal candidate combines deep automated testing expertise with a meticulous eye for system integration behaviors, enabling our development team to deploy high-quality software with speed and confidence.

Key Responsibilities and Deliverables

1. Test Automation Framework Development

• Design, build, and maintain robust, scalable end-to-end automated testing suites using Playwright.
• Implement automated UI, regression, and functional test scripts for custom-built interfaces using JavaScript and Python.
• Integrate automated test execution pipelines with cloud hosting environments and deployment architectures on Render.com and AWS.

2. Integration, Web API, & Webhook Validation

• Verify system behavior, reliability, and data mapping across custom webservices and backend infrastructure built on Supabase.
• Validate transactional behaviors and event-driven architectures triggered via internal and external webhooks.
• Test the integrity of integrated workflows connecting core platforms to external automation engines like n8n and the Odoo ERP system.

3. Cross-Platform UI & Manual Verification

• Conduct meticulous cross-browser and functional layout verification for responsive web applications optimized from ReactJS and Webflow builds.
• Perform dedicated mobile app testing on iOS and Android builds compiled through React Native.
• Conduct exploratory manual testing on new feature releases to identify edge cases and hidden design anomalies before user acceptance tracking begins.

4. Backend Database & Data Integrity Auditing

• Formulate and execute validation scripts using PostgreSQL to inspect data storage correctness, schema updates, and state modifications.
• Isolate, document, and replicate complex defect findings, maintaining a high standard of trace documentation in the engineering repository.
• Audit performance bottlenecks and routing security in tandem with front-line application rules defined over Cloudflare infrastructure.

5. Cross-Functional Collaboration & Release Readiness

• Collaborate directly with developers, product personnel, and the technical lead to map acceptance parameters directly into technical specifications.
• Advocate for automated quality standards early in the sprint cycle, driving a proactive shift-left approach to defect identification.
• Author and preserve clear testing matrices, test coverage summaries, and comprehensive automation setup manuals for the digital team.

Education & Experience

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Experience: 5-10 years of dedicated professional experience in software quality assurance, with a heavy emphasis on automated framework construction.
• Track Record: Proven success building or scaling UI and API test automation workflows within fast-paced application software environments.
• Deep, practical mastery of Playwright framework scripting.
• Strong programming literacy in JavaScript and/or Python.
• Proficient database manipulation and interrogation mastery using PostgreSQL or equivalent relational structures.
• Direct experience assessing REST APIs, webhooks, and asynchronous data flows utilizing environments like Supabase or n8n.
• Familiarity with rendering performance across ReactJS, React Native, and customized Webflow structures.
