Quality Assurance and Safety Officer

Job Roles and Responsibilities:

Reporting Non-Compliance to Quality Standards & Processes and providing Improvement recommendations.

Monitoring and reporting the noncompliance in the implementation of the Inspection and Tests plans, Acceptance Criteria. Providing recommendations for improvement.

Monitoring and reporting the noncompliance in the Implementation of ITPs. Providing recommendations for improvement.

Conduct Internal Quality (IQA) Audit for ISO compliance with the Process Engineer.

Prepare Report of the IQA outcome and recommending Improvement Actions

Assist in Facilitating and collaboration improvement Actions on Corrective action request (CAR) / Non-Conformance report.

Assisting the Team lead in identifying Quality training needs

Preparing Quality Observation reports (QOR) and monitor the close out and Effectiveness of Corrective Actions.

Conducting random and regular Quality inspections and Audits

Conducting random and regular process verification on Quality Documents and Activities

Keeping UpToDate records of Client Quality Requirements (Standards)

Assisting the Cascading of Quality Standards and Processes (New/ revised/ Refresher)

Collating and Reporting data for the of IMS Objectives

2. ESSH

Conducting 8- hour Mandatory Training

Conducting OSH orientation to all Vendors

Conducting validation of Quality and ESSH requirements to all vendors

Conducting regular ESSH Tool Box talk (TBT)

Assisting Team lead in verification and Testing PPEs

Conducting PPE inspections and reporting PPE non-compliance

Conducting and assisting Team lead in Updating Risk Assessment (HIRAC)

Reporting and conducting Incident Report/ Investigation and recommending improvement actions

Preparing Incident report

Preparing and reporting ESSH Observations and recommending improvement actions

Assist TL in Conducting RCA and in the implementation of Improvement actions

Advising and Assisting on ESSH requirements on the workplace (Site, Depots, Offices)

Conducting regular ESSH Site Inspections and Audits

Conducting Emergency Drills (Fire Drills/ Earthquake Drills)

Assist TL in preparing ESSH programs

Conducting Environmental Aspect and Impact

Assist TL in Establishing and Training of ERT

Monitoring Issuance work permits (Hot work/ Confined spaces etc.) and ensuring necessary controls are in place during the work.

Regular monitoring and updating on Compliance on OSH signages

Advising and assisting on compliance with of ESSH requirements

Job Qualifications:

Preferably an Engineering graduate (Civil Engineering or ECE)

With at least 2 years work experience with Quality Assurance & Safety

Knowledgeable with telecom Operations management Such as permitting, OSP workflow, implementation, testing and acceptance.

With excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Must be an SO2, with existing Safety certification (COSH, WAH)

Safety Practitioner SO2 accreditation from OSH-DOLE is preferred

Knowledgeable with OSH legal and other requirements (RA 11058)

With valid Driver's license

Knowledgeable in MS Excel and the rest of the basic office software
