The QA Analyst will join the mobile development team to ensure the reliability, security, and seamless user experience of a flagship telehealth mobile app. Given the platform's direct impact on patient care, the role extends beyond standard testing to support data privacy, clinical accuracy, and accessible user interfaces for both patients and healthcare providers. The QA Analyst will work closely with product, design, and mobile engineering teams to identify issues early, validate fixes, and help maintain high quality across iOS and Android devices.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive functional, regression, UI/UX, and performance testing across iOS and Android devices, screen sizes, and OS versions
- Design, maintain, and execute detailed test cases, test plans, and test scenarios based on product requirements
- Verify backend API integrations, data synchronization, and real-time communication features (e.g., video consultations and secure messaging)
- Identify, document, and track software defects in Jira; collaborate with developers to reproduce, isolate, and verify fixes
- Partner with Product Managers, UI/UX Designers, and Mobile Engineers to review requirements and provide QA insights early in the development lifecycle
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience as a QA Analyst with a strong focus on native mobile applications (iOS and Android)
- Knowledge of using Zephyr within Jira for test planning, execution cycles, and quality metrics reporting
- Proficiency with mobile testing tools and environments, including Postman, Xcode, Android Studio, and Firebase Crashlytics
- Familiarity with healthcare data privacy regulations (e.g., HIPAA) and digital health product nuances (e.g., low-bandwidth video stability and accessible UI)
- Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum development processes and modern software QA methodologies
- Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail to spot edge cases, UI discrepancies, and subtle performance bottlenecks
