We are looking for a seasoned Quality & Compliance Senior Manager to drive excellence in food safety, product quality, and compliance across our operations. This role will oversee the development and execution of quality systems that ensure products consistently meet regulatory requirements and internal standards while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational discipline.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end‑to‑end quality assurance and food safety framework, including program design, rollout, and continuous enhancement.
- Evaluate and strengthen quality practices across multiple sites through regular audits, reviews, and performance analysis.
- Serve as the primary liaison for regulatory compliance, ensuring alignment with applicable government and industry standards.
- Consolidate and present periodic performance updates, highlighting risks, trends, and recommendations for improvement.
- Conduct assessments of suppliers and external partners to ensure adherence to quality and safety expectations.
- Identify opportunities to enhance systems, tools, and processes that support product integrity and operational efficiency.
- Drive cross-functional initiatives that improve quality outcomes, including facility upgrades and process optimization.
- Lead and develop the quality team through effective workforce planning, coaching, and performance management.
- Promote a strong quality culture by embedding best practices in daily operations and decision-making.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Microbiology, Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Must hold an active professional license (Chemist, Chemical Engineer, or Chemical Technician).
- Minimum of 5 years experience in quality assurance, food manufacturing, R&D, or related functions.
- At least 5 years of people leadership experience in a supervisory or managerial capacity.
- Strong expertise in food science, including analytical testing, microbiology, and production processes.
- Experience implementing and managing quality systems such as HACCP, ISO standards, and statistical process controls (SPC).
- Working knowledge of industry practices such as GMP, GLP, and GWP.
- Excellent stakeholder management, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Open to candidates based in or willing to be assigned near Danao City, Cebu.
