OVERVIEW:
The Quantity Survey and Cost Manager will manage the day-to-day activities of the Quantity Survey Section. This role will develop detailed cost estimates for construction projects based on design specifications in all trades (Architectural, Structural and MEPFS);
Additionally, the QS and Cost Management is expected:
- To create and manage project budgets, ensuring alignment with financial objectives.;
- To oversee the preparation of tender documents and manage the bidding process
- To oversee contract compliance, ensuring that all parties adhere to terms and conditions
- To evaluate, assess and manage change orders, ensuring proper documentation and justification.
- To analyze project designs to identify opportunities for cost savings without compromising quality.
- To ensure cost estimates are on par with industry standards.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS:
Qualifications
- With at least 6 years of experience in Quantity Survey for real estate projects specifically in construction, and budget management
- With at least 5 years of managerial experience
- Should be a Licensed Civil Engineer
