We are seeking a Transformational QMS Manager to lead our Quality Management System in compliance with ISO/IEC 17025 (Testing Laboratories) and ISO/IEC 17020 (Inspection Bodies). This role is critical for maintaining our global accreditation status, ensuring data integrity, and driving a culture of continuous improvement across our testing and inspection operations.
The ideal candidate is a Certified Lead Auditor with a proven track record of managing complex QMS environments in the TIC industry, holding deep expertise in ISO 17025 signatory responsibilities, CAPA management, and Data Privacy (GDPR/Data Protection).
What you'll do:
- ISO 17025 Leadership: Serve as the primary architect and signatory for the ISO/IEC 17025 Quality Management System, ensuring full compliance with technical requirements and maintaining accreditation bodies.
- Accreditation & Audits: Lead the strategy for external audits (accreditation body inspections) and manage internal audit programs (ISO 9001, 14001, 45001, 17025). Act as the main liaison with accreditation bodies (e.g., ILAC-MRA signatories).
- Data Integrity & Privacy: Oversee the integration of Data Protection requirements into the QMS, ensuring compliance with local and international data privacy laws (e.g., Philippines Data Privacy Act, GDPR) for laboratory data and client records.
- CAPA & Risk Management: Drive the Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) process, ensuring timely resolution of non-conformities and implementing risk-based thinking to prevent recurrence.
- Technical Signatory Authority: Exercise authority as an authorized technical signatory for test reports, ensuring the validity, accuracy, and reliability of all laboratory results.
- Culture of Quality: Foster a transformational culture where quality is owned by every technician and operator. Lead leadership training and competency programs to upskill staff on QMS and technical standards.
- Process Innovation: Continuously review and improve QMS processes, integrating digital tools and automation to enhance efficiency and data traceability.
- Management Review: Prepare and present comprehensive Management Review reports to senior leadership, highlighting KPIs, audit trends, and strategic quality improvements.
What we are looking for:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Food Science, Engineering, Life Sciences, or related field. Master's degree (MBA or MS) is highly preferred.
- Experience:
- Minimum 10+ years in Quality Management within Testing Laboratories, Inspection, or Certification bodies (TIC)
- Proven experience in an ISO/IEC 17025 environment is required
- Proven experience as an ISO/IEC 17025 Authorized Signatory.
- Strong Leadership & Change Management capabilities (Transformational Style).
- Excellent stakeholder management and ability to influence senior technical teams.
- Proficiency in QMS software and data analytics tools.
