About the Role

We are seeking an OSP Engineering & Quality Control Lead to build, drive, and maintain our offshore quality management framework. In this role, you will act as the ultimate quality gatekeeper for all Outside Plant (OSP) engineering, fiber design, as-built, and permitting deliverables. You will lead a team of QC engineers, track critical metrics, eliminate design defects, and interface directly with U.S. project managers and engineering leaders to ensure direct client alignment and high first-time acceptance (FTA) rates.

Key Responsibilities
  • Quality Oversight & Framework: Develop, implement, and enforce the offshore quality management system and standard operating procedures for all OSP deliverables.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and manage the QC engineering team, driving workload distribution, review cycles, and team performance.
  • Gatekeeping & Process Control: Establish QC checklists, design review workflows, and documentation standards; ensure all fiber designs, permit packages, and as-builts meet client specs before sign-off.
  • Metrics & Continuous Improvement: Track and report KPIs (FTA rate, rework rate, QC cycle time, OTD) weekly to senior leadership; analyze defect trends and execute root-cause corrective action plans.
  • Cross-Functional Communication: Coordinate with Engineering Managers and U.S.-based Project Managers to resolve design discrepancies and manage client feedback loops.
  • Training & Mentorship: Conduct regular training sessions for drafting and engineering staff on client requirements, quality standards, and recurring design errors.

Qualifications & Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field.
  • Experience: 4+ years of hands-on experience in OSP engineering or QA/QC roles within telecommunications.
  • Leadership: Proven track record in developing QC processes and managing technical/engineering teams.
  • Skills: Strong analytical abilities, sharp attention to detail, and excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
