As QA/QC Sr. Specialist, you will be responsible for Quality Assurance and Quality Control processes and standards in support of operations and maintenance for the combined power plant assets which includes planning, coordinating, executing quality assurance and quality control activities. and contribute directly to transforming energy for a better world. You will work closely with QAQC Team under the Engineering and Technical Service Group to deliver results, create positive community impact, and develop your skills in a supportive, purpose-driven environment.
In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- To significantly contribute in improving plant availability and reliability and reduce the forced outages by increasig boiler, turbine and other equipment life through provision of development and implementation of QAQC processess, conducting daily inspections, outage quality management readiness and compliances, rectification of issues and plant failures, documentation and continuous improvement.
To Succeed in this Role, we need someone who:
- Proficiency in Quality Assurance and Quality Control and auditing skills
- Expertise in Boiler Weld Inspection, WQT, Welding, NDE Monitor, Refractory Quality Monitor
- Management of QCP / ITP and Daily Witness, Hold Point checks and sign off inspection sheet
- Thorough knowledge in Quality Management System, failure mechanisms, welding technology, CFB Boilers, construction materials quality testing
What You Will Need:
Education & Experience:
- At least 10 years of related experience in Thermal Power plant, preferably with boiler, turbine and BOP areas
- Graduate of Mechanical Engineering
- PRC license is an advantage
- Experience in ISO9001 Quality Management in a lead auditor capacity / experience is an advantage
Technical / Functional Skills:
- Proficiency in ASNT Level II
- AWS / CSWIIP
- ISO9001 Quality Management, preferably with Lead Auditor Certification
- Knowledge in Quality Orientation
- Boiler expertise in Boiler Weld Inspection , WQT
- Turbine verification
- BOP and Auxiliary Fan ESP quality checks
- Project Management
- Reporting skills
